自身のファッションブランドをはじめ、気鋭のアーティストへの作品提供も手がけるリコ・カセッラ(別名 Babybrush) が、エアブラシによる絵画作品を初めて本格的にギャラリー空間にて発表する。




KOMIYAMA TOKYO Gでは2月12日(木)より、Rico Casella (BABYBRUSH) 個展「EGREGORO」を開催いたします。


Rico Casellaは、ローマを拠点に活動するスイス系イタリア人アーティスト。
自由で流れるようなエアブラシの美学に根差した表現活動は、Babybrushの別名でも知られる。
龍やペガサスといった神話的なモチーフを通し、人々の集合的な記憶や内なる神話といった精神世界を現代の感性で描き出す。
2020年には、自身のグラフィティとイタリアの高度なテキスタイル技術を融合させたファッションブランド「Casella Meyer」を共同設立。
ファッションや音楽分野のビジュアルも数多く制作し、Virgil AblohによるOff-Whiteのコレクションへの参加をはじめ、Doja Cat、Elton John、Justice、Brodinski、といった気鋭のアーティストやCarhartt等アパレルブランドのアートワークも手がける。
本展「EGREGORO(エグレゴーロ)」では、エアブラシによる絵画作品を初めて本格的にギャラリー空間にて発表する。

Komiyama Tokyo G is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Rico Casella, EGREGORO.


Rico Casella is a Swiss-Italian artist based in Rome, known internationally under the alias Babybrush.
His practice is rooted in a fluid airbrush painting aesthetic that channels mythical and folklore narratives through an intensely personal lens. Rico’s work exists at the intersection of ancient symbolism and subconscious exploration. Each piece is a visual collision between collective memory and his own inner mythology, creating imagery that feels both primordial and contemporary.

His approach to the airbrush technique has led to collaborations with the late Virgil Abloh on capsule collections for Off-White and artistic services for artists including Doja Cat, Elton John, Justice, Brodinski and the brand Carhartt.

In 2020, Rico co-founded Casella Meyer, a luxury fashion brand that blends the highest Italian craftsmanship and textile knowledge with a unique visual language. As one of two Creative Directors, he shapes the brand’s visual identity.

With his solo exhibition EGREGORO at Komiyama Tokyo G, Rico presents his paintings and artistic work within a gallery context for the very first time.
